Leaving your legacy on campus is one of the greatest ways to give back to the university that gave so much to you, and a great way to leave your impression on this growing campus and its new generations of students. Many of you have fond memories of the tower that adorned our main entrance for so many years. A few years ago, the tower was relocated to Alumni Circle behind the Student Union and named Alumni Tower. A generous gift from the Wright State University Alumni Association made the move possible.
Alumni Tower serves as a physical tribute to all Wright State graduates and as a historical marker commemorating the earlier symbol and landmark. We are happy to announce that Alumni Tower is being improved, and we want you to be the first to leave your legacy on campus through this new project: Alumni Grove.
Not only will Alumni Grove help grow the campus and add to its already beautiful landscape, all proceeds from this project will support the Alumni Association's Legacy Scholarship. For more than 40 years, the Legacy Scholarship has supported more than 500 Wright State students with awards totaling more than $500,000 to date. Placing or planting your mark in Alumni Grove will also impact current students as they, like you before them, fulfill their dreams of a higher education.
How to Leave Your Legacy
In Alumni Grove, Wright State students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors can:
- Walk across personalized 4x8 brick paver
- Relax under a lovely shade tree
- Chat on an attractive bench placed in the Grove
