2003 grad Kara Ayers reflects on how Wright State's accessible campus, adapted sports and supportive community helped shape her journey as a Paralympic swimmer, researcher and advocate for people with disabilities.
The Foodbank organized a mass food distribution at the Wright State University Nutter Center on Aug. 27, attracting 2,627 people and distributing thousands of 103,860 pounds of food.
Adam White and Amy Faust, both graduates of Wright State’s motion pictures program, received numerous awards, including a Regional Emmy, for their short film “Photography.”
Students and alumni from Wright State’s Tom Hanks Center for Motion Pictures created an immersive short film inspired by William H. Johnson’s “Fighters for Freedom” paintings, bringing the stories of Marian Anderson, Josephine Baker and Paul Robeson to life.
