Horizon League Championship information

Wright State Raiders play in Horizon League Championship!

The Wright State men's basketball team will play for the Horizon League Championship as they take on Valparaiso Tuesday night at the Athletics-Recreation Center on the Valpo campus at 9 pm Eastern. 

The Raiders, currently 21-11, advanced to the championship game after junior Miles Dixon hit a fall away jumper at the buzzer to beat the defending champions Detroit 56-54 Saturday night.  Dixon ended the game with a team-high 14 points and was featured as the number three of ESPN SportsCenter Top Plays.

The game can be heard live on WBZI, 100.3 FM, 1660 Info Radio and 107.3 FM with Chris Collins and Bob Grote.  The game will be carried live on ESPN with Bob Wischusen and Stephen Bardo.

Horizon League Championship Viewing Party - Tuesday March 12th, 8:00 p.m. Ervin J. Nutter Center on Wright State's campus.  Free and open to alumni, students, fans and the public! 

The first 100 people in the door get a free WSU gift!  The game will be broadcast on all the televisions in the Alumni Zone/Frickers' Deck and on the Jumbotron.  Frickers' food and a cash (and credit card) bar will be available, and as with all regular season games, Alumni Association members get free snacks and significant discounts on drinks.

Parking at the Nutter Center is free and open, but please enter through Gate 9 for this event.
